IMPHAL, Sept 11: A team of Imphal West District police commandos apprehended two active cadres of under ground KCP (MC) identified as Mutum Puklemcha alias Bungcha Singh, 28, s/o of M Lukhoi Singh of Lamdeng Thongkhong and Baithang Haokip, 32, s/o of late Yaman Haokip of Molnonm village, Churachandpur district yesterday afternoon around 2.35pm from Kekrupat North AOC, Imphal.
According to an official source, the police during the spot verification it has been revealed from the arrested persons that, they were active members of KCP (MC) and they were assigned to served demand letters under the instruction of one Thakur of the outfit and they had in involved in transportation of arms and ammunitions from one to another place, one Lemon mobile handset was seized from the possession of Mutum Puklemcha alias Bungcha, the source added.
