IMPHAL, Sept 10: One hard core cadre of proscribed KCP(Nayon) outfit laid down arms before troops of 31 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR(South) yesterday.
According to a release of PRO IGAR (South), the surrenderee was identified as No 389 SS L/Cpl Jagat Singh,s/o Ibocha Singh, of Bishenpur, one .32 Pistol and three live rounds of .32 pistol were laid down by the surrendered before Assam Rifles.
