IMPHAL, September 27: The Liangmai Naga Council, Manipur has condemn the burning down of two vehicles belonging to singers hired by Sanghemlung and one vehicle of Z Kinkhonbou as well as burning as pushing dow of another vehicle to the steep gorge by unknown persons belonging to K Humaliabou, vice chairman ADC, Tamenglong on September 20.
A release of the council has stated that a big confusion and misunderstanding has been created among the general public without any reason.
While further asking for the concerned to clarify on the incident, it has also stated that the union condemned the firing of guns and frightening and intimidating of CCTS students at Nsak (Leikhanpokpi) village while they were working in the field by unknown persons.
It has further appealed to all concerned not to repeat such barbaric act for it will hamper peaceful coexistence.
