IMPHAL September20: Health and Family Welfare department, government of Mizoram has recently announced that, Shija Hospitals and Research Institute, Langol is empanelled as general and referral hospital for treatment of employees under Mizoram government and their dependents with effect from September 9 this month.
According to an official source, the official order of Shija Hospitals and Research Institute, Langol is being empanelled as general and referral hospital for treatment of employees under Mizoram government and their dependents was signed by secretary to government of Mizoram, Health and Family Welfare department on September 9 last vide their order No. A. 17014/10/2010-HFW. Besides the empanelment has been done on the recommendation of the empanelment Committee of the Government of Mizoram, the official source added.
In the meantime, the management of Shija Hospital and Research Intitute, Langol have expressed their happiness on being announced their hospital as general and referral hospital for treatment of employees of government of Mizoram.
According to a release the recognition has been rendered to facilities and department available in the hospital. The hosipital was inspected by an expert from the government of Mizoram from June 11 to June 13 last.
The release further mentioned that, Shija hospital is today recognized by the government of Nagaland, Mizoram, ECHS, CSB, Manipur University, Central University, Powergrid, NHPC, CRFP, Airport Authority of India, HUDCCO, Nabodaya Vidyalaya Samiti and government of Manipur for neurosurgery treatment, the release added.
