MSSA, COTA warns of agitation

IMPHAL, Sept 18: A statement of the Manipur Secretariat Services Association has stated that a joint meeting of the Joint Administrative Council of AMTUC & AMGEO, Manipur Secretariat Services’ Association (MSSA) and Council of Teachers’ Association (COTA) was held on September 17 and discussed many issues like non-availability of petroleum products, cooking gas, rampant price rise of all commodities etc. The govt.’s inefficiency and inactive to cope-up the situation with a vision and far sight are seriously viewed, it added.

It has further stated that the government is unable to fulfill their demands including payments of arrears for pensioners even though agreements have been already signed and as such the Co-ordination Committee of these organisations have unanimously decided to launch any kind of agitation to fulfill all its demands, added the statement signed by its general secretary, MSSA.
