IMPHAL Sept 13: The National Identity Protection Committee (NIPCO) celebrated its 11th Foundation day today in a function held at Keishampat Yumjao Lairembi community hall today.
The president of NIPCO, Khupher Kom presided the Foundation day celebration function while Social activists Dr. Lokendra Arambam and Rajkumar Ranendrajit graced as the function as the chief guest and Special guest respectively.
During their speeches the guests and invitees representing various civil organizations in the state recounting on the 11 years journey of the committee that strives to bring integrity, peace and unity among the different communities and tribes inhabiting in the state addressed on the present tumultuous situation in the state that evolved from political stalemate in between the government and the subsequent demands of SHDDC.
The foundation day observation was attended by representatives of various civil societies operating in the state.
