IMPHAL, Sep 15: The volunteers of and local club of Laipham Khunou staged sit-in-protest today at the community hall of Laipham Khunou to marked the protest of serial bomb attacks by the militants at the ADC Bhawan, Sangakpham resulting killing of three persons including two school going minor girls and leaving many innocent public injuries.
The sit-in-protest was participated by volunteers of Laipham Khunou Meira Paibi Apunba Lup and members of Laipham clubs by displaying the pla cards carrying slogans like, we strongly condemned the explosion at the public places, stop bomb culture immediately, we want peace, stop frightening the common public by putting bomb nets etc, during the demonstration today.
In the meantime, Aribam Bimola Devi, a local senior participated in the demonstration today told the media persons that, the bomb attacked to the local area by the militants have occurred four time recently and the public of the area have also started knew that the attacked were targeted to the ADC Bhawan at Sangakpham.
She further mentioned that, the public of the areas are now in apprehension of repeated bomb attack to the said Bhawan by the militants and the public are no more able to bear the paints and sorrows to be felt by people of the area, thus the public of the area demanded immediate shifting of the present ADC Bhawan at Sangkpham to other places she added or if not state government should provide adequate security protections in an around the ADC Bhawan and frequent search for militants by the security forces to the surrounding areas of ADC Bhawan is an immediate need of hours, she added.
