Re-examination of TET Paper-II scheduled for Sept 25

IMPHAL, Sept 19: The re-examination for those candidates who could not appear the Paper-II of Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) which was conducted by Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BSEM) on September 16 has been scheduled for September 25.

Addressing media persons at the RMSA office located at Babupara today, principal secretary of education (s) department, Dr J Suresh Babu stated that those candidates who could not appear the Paper-II should submit their original admit card to BSEM between 10 am and 3 pm from September 21 to 23 and obtain new admit cards. The candidates will not be allowed to appear the examination unless they obtain the new admit card.

He further stated that few candidates could not get admission to the examination centres on September 16 as their admit cards were not listed in the respective centres due to the fact that these candidates did not fill up their application forms properly and were issued admit cards for Paper-II.

Later on the request of the candidates, their admit cards for paper-II were cancelled and were issued fresh admit cards for Paper-I. But some of these candidates went to the centres with admits which were already cancelled by the board and so they could not find their seating arrangement which resulted in unwanted confusion, Suresh noted.

He further announced that the TET result will be declared on September 26 after the re-examination is conducted on September 25.
