IMPHAL, Sept 26: The proscribed RPF, in a statement issued by publicity secretary T Leishemba, has refuted the charge of killing non-Manipuris as made by Imphal West SSP L Kailun during a press conference recently.
The statement further mentioned that the RPF has never deliberately conducted operations against the non-Manipuris. The Indian government in collusion with the state government is trying to tarnish the revolutionary movement, it asserted.
Reacting sharply to the remark of SSP calling upon the UGs to attack the security forces rather the unarmed non-locals, the RPF has reaffirmed its stance not to wage war against the same ethnic group asserting that the war is against the colonial forces of India and not against their fellow brothers and sisters.
