SDPI to launch mass silent rally on Sept 27 on present state crisis

IMPHAL Sept 24: Newly formed political party Social Democratic part of India has decided to submit their memorandum to the governor Gurvachan Jagat on September 27 after conducting a mass silent protest rally from Lilong Bazar upto Raj Bhavan Imphal to bring a solution to the existing turmoil in the state caused by the prolonged multiple blockade launched by the different hill based organizations of the state.

Stating this MV Wahidur Rahaman president SDPI during the press conference at their office at Lilong this noon mentioned that, SDPI has seriously noted on the existing grievances faced by the common public of the state caused by the prolonged economic blockade and counter blockade by two major communities of the state.

He said, it is quite unfortunate on the side of both the state and central government which have failed to bring out any positive solution to the situation and letting the agitators a free hand in violent activities.

Considering all this, SDPI has decided to organize a mass silent rally from Lilong upto Raj Bhavan Imphal on September 27 afternoon and submit their memorandum to the Governor in order to bring a solution to the existing crisis creating out of the Sadar Hills issue, he added.
