IMPHAL, September 29: Imphal east commandos have been able to nabbed two woman sympathizer of the proscribed PLA and another two active member of the KCP since yesterday, stated a press release of the SP, Imphal east.
According to the release, a team of the Imphal east cdo arrested one PLA woman sympathizer identified as Thouchom (o) Lata alias Naobi Devi, 34, w/o Th Kala alias Koireng of Naoremthong Khulen Leikai from Naoremthong Khulem leikai, at around 4:30am on September 28.
It has further added that one mobile phone was recovered from her possession.
On further verification, she disclosed that her husband is an active member of the PLA organization since 1994 and is presently staying at Guwahati side.
It has further stated that on the same day at about 4:30am another PLA woman sympathizer identified as Sagolsem (o) Benaobi alias Naobi alias Tamphatombi Devi, 35, w/o Ranjit Singh, 40 of Naoremthong Khulem Leikai was arrested from Naoremthong Khulem Leikai.
It has further added that one mobile Rocker was recovered from Benaobi.
On verification she also disclosed that her husband is an active member of PLA since 1994 and presently staying at Dimapur side, it added.
On the same day at about 12:30 pm, a team of cdo/Imphal east arrested one KCP cadre identified as David Kamei, 23 s/o (L) Adun Kamei of Sangakpham bazaar cemetery road from Tangkhul avenue near Green hotel.
It further added that one .32 pistol mark as ‘made in Italy’ loaded with four live rounds in the magazine was recovered from his possession. On verification he disclosed that he is an active member of the KCP organization, and further on the same day at about 1:45 pm one more KCP cadre identified as Ngangbam Mangal alias Ibungo alias Maiki Meitei, 27, s/o (L) Ng. Soba Meitei of Sangakpham bazaar near auto parking was also arrested from his residence.
On verification he revealed that he is an active member of KCP and was involved in extortion of money from general public, government officials and transportation of arms and ammunition from place to place added press note.
