IMPHAL, Sept 19: The news report carried in the IFP Sept 16 issue, titled “Security alerts on possibility of attack by NSCN-IM”, had no intention of tarnishing the image of TCC, a committee set up by Tangkhul frontal organisations and mandated by the people.
The article was based entirely on an official police wireless dispatch to its relevant units, a copy of which is available with the IFP. Any inconvenience caused in inadvertent and regretted.
