IMPHAL, Sept 26: The Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) refutes the statement of Th. Radheshyam SP Imphal East who claimed to have rescued an employee of NHPC from the clutches of the outfit.
In a statement A. Ramroi, general secretary of the outfit clarified that the abducted employee, Gouramani was not abducted but called out from his house to dsicuss some departmental related issues and after prior intimation and understanding.
It further claimed that Gouramani was sent back home safe and sound from the outfit’s camp after discussion was held besides no harassment was given to him it said.
The outfit did not imposed monetary demand of 5 Lakhs as claimed by the SP and asserted Poulani Gangmei who was reportedly arrested by the security for involving in the abduction is baseless. He was arrested on another duty it further clarified.
