    IMPHAL October 7: The All India Youth Federation, Bishnupur District Council has stated that it will go ahead with its agitation to stop commercial vehicles plying along the Tiddim road in case of failure of the authority concerned to look into their demands.

    A release by Kh Ramananda, publicity secretary of the federation stated that the body has appealed to the state government to check the fares imposed by the passenger vehicles which has been received by the government and a meeting with the Bishnupur district transport officer has been scheduled on October 10 along with representatives of the federation.

    In this regard the AISF, Bishnupur has revoked its stance to begin the agitation scheduled to begin on October 10, however, if there are no tangible results of the meeting, the agitation to stop passenger vehicles will start from October 11 onwards, it said.
