IMPHAL, Oct 9: The allegation of embezzlement of development fund as made by some RTI activists against the Pradhan of Changamdabi Gram Panchayat has been refuted by the public during a meeting held today at Yairipok Changamdabi under Andro assembly constituency.
The public meeting demanded the RTI activists to withdraw the allegations against Pradhan Md Kamaruddin.
Various development works undertaken by Changamdabi Gram Panchayat under MGNREGS and state finance commission during 2008-09 and 2010-11 were also exhibited to media persons prior to the public meeting.
