IMPHAL, October 31: The state cabinet meeting convened today under the chair of Chief Minister Okram Ibobi has approved the revival package for short-term cooperative credit structure with effect from June 20, 2008.
The cabinet further approved the conversion of paid up capital of Rs. 26,82,78,772 in respect of 2008 PAGS and MSCB without any fresh liability to the government.
It was also approved that the government will have one additional director in the board of MSCB.
The engagement of one OSD (legal) on contract basis in general administration department was also approved in today’s cabinet.
The state cabinet also discussed the demand of Joint Administrative Council (JAC) of AMGEO and AMTUC pertaining to the implementation of revised 6th central pay. It has instructed the finance department to obtain the details of allowances merged in DA, DA installment and implementation of new three-tier ACP scheme by other northeastern states.
