CDSU demands compensation for murdered traders` family

LAMKA, Oct 31:  The Chruachandpur District Students Union, CDSU today took to the streets against the kidnapping and subsequent killing of Apu Jain, 31, s/o Babulal Jain of Rajasthan on the October 29. The agitation was participated by many people form all communities numbering about 5000.

The protesters after congregating at the public ground at about 11am started marching towards the DC/CCpur office and took the streets of Tipaimukh road and then IB Road. Upon reaching the Tedim road the protestors further marched ahead towards the DC office along the route till reaching it.

They carried placards and banners which read: ‘We want Justice`, `We want peace` and ` We want to live in a peaceful atmosphere ` besides many others.

On reaching the DC office they tendered a memorandum to the state Chief Minister through the DC in which they urged the government to nab the culprits and give a befitting punishment as per the law of the land and also give a befitting compensation to the next of kin of the dead victim.

The CDSU said they wouldn’t hesitate to taking extreme steps incase the state government fail to comply with their demands.
