IMPHAL, Oct 26: President of Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee, Gaikhangam has greeted the people of Manipur on the occasion of Ningol Chakkouba which is a significant festival for the married women of the state.
He further appealed to the people to maintain peace and harmony in the state while celebrating the grand festival.
All Manipur Students’ Union (AMSU) has also extended its greetings for Ningol Chakkouba festival to the people of the state.
It appealed to all to shed the materialistic things and concentrate on upholding the traditional values of the festival.
