IMPHAL, Oct 25: The Chief Minister of Manipur, O. Ibobi Singh, has sent his warm greeting the people of Manipur on the jouyour occasion of Diwali festival.
In a statement, the CM said “I convey my warm greetings to the people of Manipur on the joyous occasion of Diwali, festival of lights”.
“Diwali festival of commemorate Lord Rama’s return to his kingdom Ayodhya after completing his 14 years exile. It is a festival symbolizing the victory of good over evil. People celebrate the festival by illuminating their homes to dispel darkness and to evoke the blessing of Goddess Lakshmi. Let us celebrate this festival in its true spirit with care and concern for others. May this festival bring peace, prosperity and happiness in our lives” it said.
