IMPHAL, Oct 22: All sets of preparation for the successful holding election of autonomous district council constituencies, namely 17/Phaibung Khullen district council constituency under Senapati Autonomous District Council and 3/Chingai district council constituency under Ukhrul District Council which are scheduled to be held on October 24 have been completed as 32 companies of CRPF.
Only these two constituencies have been left out for the ADC election.
The state government has also announced public holiday of government offices, educational institutions and business establishments on the day of the election. The government employees/bank employees/employees of public undertaking serving elsewhere are allowed to avail special casual leave on October 24.
