IMPHAL, Oct 22: The excise department of Manipur has collected revenue amounting to altogether Rs 4,59,52,000, within six months from the month of April till September 2011.
The excise commissioner in a statement said, the department collected a total Rs 83,71,550 in the month of April, Rs 72,50,016 in the month of May, Rs 78,63,931 and Rs 81,73,722 in the month of June and July.
It further informed that the department further collected Rs 65,75,306 in the month of August and another Rs 77,08,266 rupees in the month of September.
