IMPHAL, October 2: The Kuki Baptist Convention, youth department as in the past many years celebrated the Youth Day today, the first Sunday of October.
A statement of the Baptist Youth Fellowship KBC Centre Church, New Lambulane, chairman has stated that the day was celebrated in every church falling under the Kuki Baptist Convention under the theme ‘Youth & Mission’.
The Kuki Baptist Convention, centre church New Lambulane also celebrated the Youth Day 2011 with the theme Youth & Mission, while local church pastor Rev. Ngamjapao Hoakip delivered an inspiring message relevant to the theme. Cultural dance, extempore speech, Bible recitations, choreography and presenting awards to the outstanding HSLC & HSSLC 2011 candidates mark the event of the day, while Paotinlun Doungel was awarded the best BYF member of the Year 2011, added the statement.
