IMPHAL, Oct 2: A periodical bilingual newspaper in English and Ronglat dialect of Zeliangrong Naga named “Makam Post” has been launched today in a function held at the office of Ramgailong School located at Langol Laimanai, Imphal.
President of All Zeliangrong Students’ Union (Assam, Manipur, Nagaland) released the first volume of the newspaper today.
Kuripou Gonmei is the editor, owner and publisher of this monthly newspaper “Makam Post.”
He stated that the newspaper will be upgraded to a fortnightly and then to a weekly and finally to a daily newspaper in 2012.
