IMPHAL, Oct 4: Three Manipuri girls who have participated in Asian Youth and Junior Judo Championship at Beirut have bagged several medals.
Likmabam Sushila Devi from Heingang bagged gold medal in 52 kg category of youth championship after beating her Kazakisthan opponent in the final bout. She was also declared the “Best Judoka” of the championship.
In the junior section, H Sunibala of Mayang Imphal and H Dhanapriyari of Thanga won silver medals in 70 kg and 44 kg category respectively.
