IMPHAL, Oct 1: Son of senior cabinet minister, Y. Irabot, along with his accomplices was allegedly frisked by ill dressed security personnel without any rhyme or reason, late this evening at Mantripukhri.
Speaking to media persons in this regards the minister’s son identified as Rohoso said that the incident occurred around 7:20 pm. He and four others were coming in a Bolero Jeep from Mantripukhri Puja Lampak after inspecting the arrangement of a community hall which was to be inaugurated by his father tomorrow. However on reaching Thakurbari a gypsy carrying security personnel allegedly stopped the jeep and conducted checking on the team. He further told media persons that some of the personnel were wearing half pants.
He further asserted that on enquiring who the commander of the team is and the reason behind the checking, the gypsy hurried away from the scene.
