IMPHAL, Oct 14: Keisham Rojen Kumar who had contested the assembly election three times from Naoriya Pakhanglakpa assembly constituency has formally joined Manipur Pradesh Trinamool Congress.

In this regard, a simple reception programme was held today at the office of Manipur Pradesh Trinamool Congress, Keishampat, Imphal.

Speaking at the reception, MPTC president Kim Gangte stated Trinamool Congress will make a thumping win in the coming assembly election and serve the people right from the grassroot level.

The development of the state lies in equitable development of both hill and valley regions and so Trinamool Congress will work in the real interest of the people, she asserted.

The candidates from other parties have joined Trinamool Congress with the firm belief that the party would work to bring about utmost development in the state which is lagging behind in all aspects, Kim averred.

The Trinamool Congress will try to repeal AFSPA completely from the state if it comes to power in the coming election, the MPTC assured.

Rojen Kumar will be contesting the coming assembly election from Trinamool Congress ticket from Naoriya Pakhanglakpa A/C.
