IMPHAL, Oct 30: The general secretary of the Communist Party of India (Marxist), Prakash Karat, is visiting Imphal on November 2 for two days.
The CPI (M), Manipur in an official statement said that the general secretary during his maiden visit to the state will stay for two days.
During his stay he will be delivering a lecture on Neo-Liberal High Growth Trajectory and Centre-State fiscal relation at Senate Hall, Manipur University, Chanchipur at 2 pm on November 2.
Besides that the PCI (M) leader is also going to deliver a speech on the current Politico-Economic Scenario which has impact on the national, international as well as local issues at GM Hall on November 3 at 11 am, said the statement.
The CPI (M) leader will be accompanied by Noorul, Huda, Central Committee member of CPI (M) and ex- MP Loksabha.
