IMPHAL, Nov 12: 46 Assam Rifles of 27 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of “Red Shield Division” organized an Inter-College Debate Competition 2011at Rayburn College on November 12 on the topic “NREGS-CURSE OR BOON for the people of Churachandpur”
Four prestigious educational institutes, namely Rayburn College, Vision Academy, Don Bosco College and VK Tawna College participated in the completion.
The Competition was judged by eminent personalities of Churachandpur District including Brigadier Vijay Sharad Ranade, Commander 27 Sector Assam Rifles. The award for the best team was won by Vision Academy and the best speaker for and against the motion was bagged by Cindy Felneithiem of VK Tawna College and EL Ramneivar of Don Bosco Higher Secondary School respectively. Cash prizes and gift hampers were given to the winners and gift hampers were also given to all participated.
