IMPHAL, Nov 12: 5 Assam Rifles under the aegis of Red Shield Division provided humanitarian assistance in the form of first aid to four injured passengers who got injured in an accident which took place on November 11 near Maram. The Tata Sumo vehicle bearing registration number NL 08 0424 toppled near Maram and fell into a road side ditch about 20 metres deep on NH-2. A rescue team of 5 Assam Rifles along with recovery vehicle rushed to the spot and recovered the toppled vehicle. The injured were treated at battalion MI Room by the medical officer, stated a release of PRO PIB (Defence Wing).
