IMPHAL, Nov 13: The platinum jubilee of Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya was celebrated today at Human Resource Development Academy, Ghari, Imphal West.
The celebration was attended by I Hemochandra, Speaker of Manipur Legislative Assembly, Prof HNK Sarma, vice-chancellor of Manipur University, Rajyogini Brahmakumari Kanan, Dr S Jugindro, medical superintendent of Shija Hospitals and L Kamakhyakumar, Principal of HRD Academy as the chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.
Speaking at the occasion, Speaker I Hemochandra condemned the attack on education minister DD Thaisii by some suspected armed militants in Senapati district yesterday.
He further commended the Brahmakumaris for bringing peace and harmony in the state through spirituality.
