IMPHAL, Nov 12: A team Moreh custom and preventive forces led by inspector S. Hemjit seized 550 gm of heroine number 4 from Moreh bazaar yesterday around 3pm.
The drug was recovered from the possession of Nilaluddin Laskar, 38, s/o Sirajuddin Laskar Shaddim Bazaar, Silchar while traveling on a passenger van.
According to official sources, the drug worth around 55 lakhs in the international market was seized following reliable information.
The arrested individual has been sent to judicial custody by the Chandel CJM.
