IGNTUSW express resentment

IMPHAL, Nov 11 (NNN): Indira Gandhi National Tribal University Students’ Welfare (IGNTUSW), Regional Campus in Manipur has expressed resentment over defective question papers set for the recent second semester examination of the varsity.

The students` body alleged the authority of the varsity committed mistakes by setting default questions for the semester examination which commenced from November 7 and also no question was set for a scheduled particular paper.

It said the mistakes committed in setting questions and non-setting of question for examination indicates clear laxity on the part of the varsity authority.

In a meeting held on October 24, the vice chancellor of the tribal varsity, C.D. Singh had assured the students that there would be no more mistakes in question setting and any matter arising out of question setting would be beneficial to the students as allotted marks and the question setter (s) would be punished, the tribal students` body said.

IGNTUSW then urged the university officials to avoid such mistakes in the future as examination being the most important job of a varsity.
