IMPHAL, Nov 1: The Inner Line Permit System Expert Committee set up by the Federation of Regional Indigenous Society (FREINDS) has released its report today.
The committee was headed by retired Justice of Gauhati High Court RK Manisana.
Speaking to media persons, president of FREINDS, Sapamcha Jadumani stated that the report of the expert committee will be submitted to the Chief Minister on October 3.
He said he is hopeful that the state government will take up necessary steps to implement the inner line permit system in the state as per the report and recommendations of the expert committee.
