Parliamentary sub-committee to arrive in state

    IMPHAL, Nov 11: A 13 member team of the 1st Parliamentary Sub-Committee on Language comprising of 13 MPs led by its deputy chairman Satyavrat Chaturvedi, MP (Rajya Sabha) will be touching down on November 13 at the state capital on a three day visit to assess the various promotional works of languages in the state taken up by the state government.

    The team will meet officials of the concern departments of the state on November 14 at Hotel Classic, which will be followed by inspection visits of various institutes including IOCL, IGNOU regional centre, SAI complex.

    The team will further inspect the CISF unit ASG Imphal Airport during their stay in the state. The team will leave the state on November 15.
