IMPHAL, Nov 2: 23 Assam Rifles of 10 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) organized a pre-recruitment rally at Shangshak from November 1 onwards to guide aspirant candidates for forthcoming recruitment rallies to Armed Forces. This pre-recruitment rally was organized mainly to check the documentation aspect of interested candidates of Manipur and to conduct medical and physical tests to apprise the candidates of their present status.
In another occasion, 23 Assam Rifles organized a Run for Fun for Health Awareness at Shangshak on 02 Nov 2011. The event was organized under the perception management activities to educate the local populace about health. The school children from Shangshak and nearby villages were participated in the event. The village authorities along with local populace were also attended the event and prizes were distributed to the winners.
