IMPHAL, Nov 2: Discovering the movement of UG cadres in general area Waithou of Imphal West district, the troops of 28 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR(South) launched operation in the area and apprehended two UPRF cadres on 01 Nov 2011. The apprehendees were identified as Md Farid Khan alias Boi, 27 yrs, s/o Late Md Nahatomba, r/o Lilong Kalaikhong and Md Nawaz Khan,18 yrs, s/o Md Zahiruddin, r/o Lilong Turei Ahanbi and were handed over to Thoubal Police station, stated a release of PRO IGAR (S).
In yet another incident, troops of 27 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR (S) launched operation in general area Sugnu Awang Leikei of Thoubal district and apprehended one KYKL cadre on 01 Nov 2011. The apprehendee was identified as No.1233 SS Pvt Inaocha Singh, 40 yrs, s/o Amika Singh, r/o Sugnu Awang Leikai and was handed over to Sugnu Police station.
