IMPHAL December 2: The Manipur Pradesh Trinamool Congress Committee has demanded from the Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi to clarify on the issue of the Supra State issue in a white paper to quell the anticipation of the public during their visit to the state tomorrow.

A release of the committee has stated that, if the clarification is not made publicly, then it would be viewed that the centre has designs to pit the communities against each other and the negative aftereffects will be the sole responsibility of the UPA government.

Further, it has alleged the state government of not being able to control the inflated price rise of essential commodities and the scarcity of petrol even though the economic blockade has been lifted.

From the present scenario, it is evident that the state government cannot carry out proper administration and that it has failed on all counts, it further maintained.

The loopholes in the law and order situation are indicated by the bomb blast at the Sangai Tourism Festival site. Such misgovernance is condemned by the Trinamool Congress and the Governor of the state should take cognizance of the matter, it stated.
