Two IPS officers on mid-career training

IMPHAL, December 10: The department of personnel & administrative reforms has recently announced that the Governor has accorded his sanction to the deputation of two IPS officers of the state for attending the third course of phase III mid career training programme, a source informed.

The IPS officers who will be attending their 3rd course of phase III mid career training programme are H Thanghaulien Gangte, IPS (MT-03) commandant, 2nd battalion IPR, Manipur and Themthing Ngashangva, IPS (MT-04), Superintendent Manipur Cnetral jail imphal, Sajiwa.

The source has also informed that during their absence, P Ranjit Singh, MPS dy Commandant 2nd IRB will look after the works of H Thanhaulien in addition to his normal duties while W Phanithang TKL, addl SP, Manipur Central Jail will look after the work of Themthing Ngashangva.

The training programme will be for a period of eight months, with the first six months at the SVP National Police Academy, Hyderabad wef December 6 to March 16, 2012 and the last two weeks from March 19 to March 30 in Australia.
