IMPHAL, December 24: Lt Gen Dalbir Singh, AVSM, VSM, GOC 3 Corps has greeted the people of Manipur on the joyous occasion of Christmas. In his message, GOC 3 Corps said that the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ is a celebration of hope, as represented by the Redeemer. Wishing the people joy, happiness and prosperity GOC expressed the hope that this Christmas would witness an enhanced sprit of brotherhood that would allow the people and the State to prosper, stated an official message.
Brig HPS Pall, Offg IGAR (South) and All Ranks of Assam Rifles have also extended their warm greetings and sincere goodwill to all the people of “Manipur” on the auspicious occasion of Christmas.
The IGAR (South) has also conveyed his earnest message of peace, harmony, unity and understanding on this joyous occasion. He earnestly wishes that all the goodwill brings us together, irrespective of caste, creed and faith. May Lord Almighty bless us all on this special day of joy and happiness, the message added.
