IMPHAL, Jan 31: The Assam Rifles has strongly refuted the RPF’s claim of an attack in Tegnuopal sub-division on January 28 inflicting heavy casualties on the side of the paralamilitary. In the rebuttal, AR officials stated that the report was an attempt by the proscribed outfit to save its face after combined security forces have ensured peaceful assembly elections despite the boycott calls and disruptive activities of the militants.
