IMPHAL, Jan 25: Chief Minister Okram Ibobi has strongly reacted to Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio for branding him as “anti-national and undemocratic leader”.

Addressing media persons today at Congress Bhavan, Chief Minister stated that Neiphiu Rio himself is an undemocratic leader trying to disintegrate the territorial integrity of Manipur.

The Congress Party is concerned with the welfare of all communities in the state. The SPF is not biased against any other community or group, he asserted.

Ibobi also strongly condemned the series of attacks carried out by CorCom against the Congress Party.

He questioned the CorCom why they do not target the Trinamool and NPF which have adopted a hidden agenda to disintegrate Manipur.

Clarifying on the CNN-IBN report on his assets, Chief Minister stated that anybody can verify his assets if there is any doubt on the assets mentioned in the affidavit.

The past leaders of the state had put Manipur on fire, but now the situation has changed completely with the progressive 10 years’ rule of SPF government in the state, he noted.

Gaikhangam also cautioned the people against NPF which is trying to disintegrate the territorial integrity of Manipur by uniting all Naga inhabited regions of northeast.
