IMPHAL, March 22: Lamphel Police has handed over the dead body of a woman who was admitted at the RIMS by two individuals on March 11 identifying her as Sanasam Sanathoi, 45 wife of Birchandra of Kumbi Terakhong after her dead body had remained unclaimed at the hospital morgue since March 19 night to the public crematorium at Minuthong today.
Lamphel police had contacted their Kumbi counterparts after Sanathoi’s dead body had remained unclaimed at the hospital, however, Sanasam Sanathoi was found to be very much alive putting the police in a frenzy.
Meanwhile, a person identified as Heikrujam Brojendro, 32 son of (l) Ibocha of Langmeidong Laimanai Makha Leikai was found hanging inside the kitchen of his rented house at Thangmeiband Lourungpurel Leikai this morning by his wife.
The Imphal Police station has filed a case in this regard and the dead body after post mortem at the RIMS Morgue has been handed over to the family members.
In the meantime, family members of Thoudam Ango alias Karna of Leimakhong Mapan Mamang Leikai under Lamlai PS has received his dead body. Ango was found hanging inside his room under suspicious circumstance on March 19 morning.
