IMPHAL, April 11: The proscribed RPF has today claimed that Arnold alias Bekon of Guwahati Manipur Basti who was arrested by a team of the National Investigation Agency on April 9 from Siliguri was dismissed from the party on November 1, 2011 after a thorough discussion by the executive member of the outfit and as such the said person is not related to the party in any way, stated a press statement of the outfit.
Meanwhile in a separate press statement, the outfit has also claimed that RK ongbi Randhoni, 57 wife of RK Ibomcha, Thangmeiband Lourum Purel who was allegedly arrested by a team of the Imphal west district police as a member of the outfit is not related to the party in any matter.
It has further stated that the charge that Randhoni was distributing money to various women organization of Manipur in connection to the upcoming April 13 Athouba Numit celebration is fabricated by the police.
The statement has further claimed that Takhellambam Rajeshwari wife of T Thoiba of SIngjamei Mayengbam Leikai who was also arrested by the Imphal west police commandos on charges of extorting money from the public in connection with the April 13 observation under the direction of one s/s sgt Tesu of the PLA is also not connected to the party in any way. It has also claimed that the PLA has no cadre by the name Tesu.
