Tiddim Road Athletic Union beats Eastern Sporting Union

IMPHAL, April 4: Tiddim Road Athletic Union batsman Priyojit Singh belittles Eastern Sporting Union ranks cracking an unbeaten 171 runs to romp home with a mamoth 244 runs victory in the MCA Classification Tournament 2011-12 played at Luwangpokpa Cricket Ground.

Priyojit Singh showed little respect for the ESU bowler as he swings his bat in all direction for his well made 171 runs from 101 deliveries. Jotish Singh with 49 runs and Rajesh Patil with 20 runs were the major contributors in the Tiddim innings.

Despite the beating, the ESU bowler Sivananda, Sangkar and Manish chips in to bagged 2 wicket each.

The Eastern Sporting Union were in dire straits right from the beginning with a lone resistance from Sangkar who managed to scored 27 runs off 55 balls. However his lone defence proved futile as they were bundled out for 57/10 in 21 overs. Tiddim bowler Bobbin pick up 3 wicket while Raju gets 2 wicket.

Tiddim batsman Priyojit Singh was declared the man of the match for his unbeaten knock of 171 runs in the match.
