IMPHAL, Apr 30: General assembly of the United Committee Manipur (UCM) will be held on May 3 at the head quarters of the committee at Lamphel Traffic island at 10:30 am.
A new central committee will be elected during the meeting as the three-year term of the committee beginning March 2009 has ended in March 2012, the committee informed in a release on Monday.
UCM also appealed to all organizations and individuals not to cause any kind of disturbance on May 3.
