IMPHAL, May 31: An unidentified body of a male which was supposed to be disposed of by Imphal Municipality has been identified after an election i-card was discovered from him.
He has been identified as Rajesh Nongrem, son of BB Thapa, a native of Mandantring, East Khasi Hills, Meghalaya.
The body will be kept at the RIMS mortuary for some days to claim by his family, police said.
Rajesh was found dead in the Naga River section of North AOC here on May 28.
