IMPHAL, May 5: The HPC-D said today the expelled H Zosangbera Party and a section of the Indian Paramilitary force are continued to attempt to misguide and deceive the general public.
A statement signed by Jackie Hmar, secretary of information and publicity, HPC-D said there is no group called HPC-P, but only one legitimate HPC-D founded by president, Lalhmingthang Sanate.
It further said any group that declares it to be HPC-P is nothing but an illegitimate party, adding that the HPC-D was founded by Lalhmingthang Sanate, to work for the welfare protection of the Hmar community in all the Hmar inhabited areas in the North East.
