IMPHAL, May 31: A combined team of CDO Thoubal and 15 AR arrested two cadres of KCP (Noyon) involved in the recent bomb attack at the residence of Maneshore Singh of Bidyanagar, BDO, Jiribam today.
According to a police release, a combined team of CDO Thoubal and 15 AR conducted a search operation at Thoudam Mamang Leikai and arrested one cadres of KCP (Noyon).
It has identified the arrested person as Thoudam Khamba alias Nganthoi alias Enunganba Singh, 21, son of Th Tomba Singh of Thoudam Mamang Leikai and added that the team has recovered one 9 mm pistol with four live rounds from his possession.
On further questioning, he revealed that he was a trained cadre of PREPAK (GS) with army number 40930 who had later joined the KCP (Noyon), the release said.
He further revealed that he is working in the finance section of the organization at Jiribam under the command of one Thoudam Inao alias Wangthoi alias Awangba, 30, son of Th Chousingh of Thoudam Mamang Leikai, it said.
As a follow-up action, the combined team immediately raided the house of Thoudam Inao and arrested him from his house. Two hand grenades were recovered from his possession, the release said.
Wangthoi revealed that he was a member of RPF/PLA with army number 2274 and now working as commander of special finance team of KCP (Noyon), according to the statement.
Both the cadres are involved in the recent bomb attack at the residence of Maneshore Singh of Bidyanagar, BDO, Jiribam, stated the release.
