IMPHAL, May 13: The two-day 77th anniversary of Manipur Sahitya Parishad concluded today at the JNM Dance Akademi Hall, Imphal where Manipur Chief Minister O Ibobi handed over annual awards to the winners.
On the second day of the celebration, the state Chief Minister who attended the event as president distributed annual Upadhi award, cash award and gold medals to the winners.
A Sanskrit programme was also held at the concluding session of the anniversary. On the inaugural day of the celebration on May 12, a seminar entitled “Manipur Hijam Guna Singh” was also organized as part of the annual event.
