IMPHAL, May 6: KAVA defeated ATVFA by 4-0 in the today’s last quarterfinal match of the 14 edition challenge cup veteran football tournament held at Mapal Kangjeibung, Imphal.
The first goal of the match was scored by Angampu Kabui in 46 minutes from a square pass made by L Surchandra, which was followed by Kendrajit in 51 minutes from a free kick and again followed by Angampu in 53 minutes and finally the last goal was scored by Jiten in 57 minutes through a pass made by Tamphayai.
Semifinals: NAVSA vs ISAV on May 8 and KAVA vs FC Imphal on May 9.
